Job Description

Role Overview: As a Data Security Governance / DLP Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions such as Symantec DLP, McAfee CASB, and Microsoft Information Protection (MIP). Your role will involve analysing and interpreting evolving security threats, developing DLP policies, and collaborating with global and regional stakeholders to ensure data security. Key Responsibilities: - Proficient in at least two of the following tools: Symantec DLP, McAfee CASB, Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) - Develop, manage, and maintain DLP policies and whitelist guidelines - Knowledge of global IT security compliance and regulatory requirements - Collaborate with audit teams, second line of defence, and external regulators in cybersecurity environments - Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies for managing security-related projects and tasks - Strong communication skills for stakeholder management and collaboration across teams - Lead DLP governance meetings and communicate with audit and regulatory bodies - Manage teams across global locations and lead technical teams to deliver accurate results - Experience contributing to a positive, collaborative cybersecurity culture Qualifications Required: - Formal education or equivalent experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science - Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile project methodologies - Familiarity with global security tools, controls, and audit frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, etc. - Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, ISO 27001 LA, or equivalent - Exposure to quantifying cyber risks and defining control actions for mitigation - Understanding of the financial services threat landscape and experience working within financial services or related regulated environments (Note: Additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.),
