Specialist - General Ledger

Role Overview: As a Specialist in General Ledger at MANN+HUMMEL, your main responsibility will be to perform daily R2R accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, conduct reconciliations, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and participate in continuous improvement projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely closure of books and submission of reports in line with Group MH standards. Key Responsibilities: - Perform daily R2R accounting tasks such as GL postings, fixed assets management, treasury operations, and intercompany reconciliation. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS-compliant financial statements for assigned legal entities. - Conduct Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss account reconciliations, analyze variances, and ensure accuracy of financial data. - Collaborate with management, operational teams, external auditors, tax advisors, and statutory bodies during audits and compliance reviews. - Work closely with internal teams such as P2P, O2C, Controlling, and SAP FICO for smooth process flow. - Participate in special projects like SAP S/4HANA rollout, process optimizations, and contribute to the documentation of efficient accounting processes. - Apply accrual concepts effectively in day-to-day operations to ensure financial accuracy. Qualifications Required: - University degree in Economics, Accounting, or related studies (ACCA, CPA, CA preferred). - Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or audit, focusing on IFRS. - Knowledge of SAP systems, particularly S4Hana, is advantageous. - Strong MS Excel skills to handle and interpret large data sets effectively. - Solid understanding of financial reporting principles, accounting controls, and reconciliations. - Effective collaboration and communication skills to work across teams and functions. - Fluency in business English, both written and spoken.
