Description
As a Data Security Protection professional at Standard Chartered Bank, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and protection of data through various technologies and strategies. Your responsibilities will involve identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements to automate manual processes and optimize data protection solutions. You will collaborate with architects and other leads to develop service strategies and define roadmaps for future service and product capabilities. In this role, you will review and validate the mature operating model for the service, identify opportunities for continuous and automated deployment, and document and publish service catalogues for improved end-user access. Working on demand management to deliver stakeholder-driven demands, you will also partner with technical teams and solution architects to analyze technical and non-technical requirements for building robust data protection solutions. Additionally, you will work with internal and external auditors to support auditing requirements. As part of your role, you will be expected to display exemplary conduct and adhere to the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. Taking personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, you will ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines. Collaborating effectively to identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters is essential in achieving the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principle. Key stakeholders you will engage with include the Head of Data Security Protection and the Product Owner of Data Security Protection. Your role will require a minimum of 13-15 years of experience in relevant security products, with hands-on experience in data protection technologies like Information Rights Management, Data Discovery & Classification, DLP, CASB, etc. You should also have a deep understanding of cloud data security solutions and experience with SaaS products. Demonstrable experience in Azure Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and engagements across cloud security lifecycle will be beneficial. Working with geographically dispersed teams, particularly in the Financial Services industry, and collaborating with various teams to provide technical guidance will be part of your responsibilities. Industry certifications like CISSP, Azure & AWS related certifications are advantageous. In terms of qualifications, a minimum of 15 years of education is required, along with training in Azure Dev Ops and certifications such as CISSP (preferred).
