Now Hiring Special Education Teacher at Shumpun Foundation Job Title: Special Educator About us: Shumpun Foundation works with children with autism spectrum disorder and their parents to provide educational and behavioral therapy to promote inclusion. Our Mission is to improve the lives of individuals with social, emotional and cognitive impairments through arts, education, research and community engagement. While we incorporated in 2017, we began our work much earlier in 2007. Since then, we have served over 900 children and their families. (https://theshumpunfoundation.org/) Job Description- The Role: Are you a passionate, mission-driven teacher who wants to serve children with special needs and enjoy working with families to promote a childs wellbeing and learning? Are you looking to continue your own growth as a teacher? This this job is for you! We are seeking a highly motivated teacher to work with children from 1 year to 18 years and their families to provide educational and behavioral therapy. Shumpun foundation has developed a unique program that involves training the parents therapeutic techniques to help their child with autism meet their educational and behavioral developmental milestones. We are looking for special educator who will join our team and work to promote the goals of the organization to better serve the families and the children. It is a clinical service so Saturday and Sundays are working. Tuesdays are off day. Qualifications: B. ED in special education (required) or MSC in Phycology or Child Development 1-2 years will be our first preference. Freshers can also apply.
