Special Education Content Developer

$50$70/hour

Role Responsibilities
- Develop and organize expert-level educational content aligned with project guidelines.
- Review, interpret, and translate IEP and 504 plan components into clear, structured documentation.
- Ensure accuracy, depth, and clarity across all instructional materials.
- Apply expert knowledge of key special education transition periods, including graduation and postsecondary planning.
- Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager and meet all deadlines.
- Work independently to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 8+ years of experience as a special education teacher, IEP coordinator, or equivalent role.
- Deep expertise in autism-focused educational services.
- Strong understanding of IEP and 504 plan development and review processes.
- Demonstrated experience advocating for parent and student educational rights.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured documentation standards.
