Spacey Science

This is an unpaid internship (remote). About the Project We are creating Spacey , a female astronaut cartoon character with her White Chihuahua sidekick. The show is aimed at children aged 6–9, blending science, space exploration, and humour. Think Peppa Pig meets Magic School Bus in space . Our vision: launch on YouTube, build a global audience, then expand into schools and children’s events. Role As a Storyboard & Concept Artist Intern , you will bring Spacey and her White Chihuahua to life. You’ll visualise short pilot episodes and help define the look and feel of the characters and worlds. What You’ll Do Turn simple scripts into engaging storyboards. Design character sheets (poses, emotions, actions) for Spacey (female astronaut) and her dog. Sketch space environments, planets, and fun props. Who You Are Illustrator, art student, or creative with a passion for cartoons. Able to sketch quickly and adapt to a bright, playful style. Interested in children’s storytelling and character design. Details This is an unpaid internship (remote). You will be credited as part of the founding creative team. A strong opportunity to build portfolio material for animation or illustration.
