SPA GL Consolidation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Chartered Accountant with deep expertise in General Ledger (GL) consolidation, SPA (Shared Platform Accounting), and S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will possess strong domain knowledge in GL processes, a solid understanding of US GAAP, and proven experience in leading or supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support SPA GL consolidation activities across multiple entities and geographies.

• Drive and contribute to S/4HANA implementation projects, focusing on GL and financial consolidation modules.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, and external consultants to align system capabilities with business requirements.

• Design and optimize GL processes and controls within the S/4HANA environment.

• Provide expert guidance on chart of accounts, intercompany eliminations, and financial close processes.

• Conduct gap analysis, prepare functional specifications, and support testing and deployment phases.

• Monitor and resolve issues related to data integrity, system configuration, and reporting accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification is mandatory.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in GL consolidation and financial reporting.

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, especially in Finance (FI) and GL modules.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP and international accounting standards.

• Proven track record in SAP implementation or migration projects.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP Group Reporting or BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation).

• Knowledge of IFRS and other global accounting frameworks.

• Exposure to multinational corporate environments and shared service models.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹6,000,000.00 per year
