Our newly branded Motor Vehicle Centre of excellence at our Southampton campus is growing at a fast rate, with 3 purpose-built motor vehicle workshops. We have an exciting opportunity for a Motor Vehicle Workshop Technician to join our established team, you will be working alongside a knowledgeable and motivated group of staff and have your very own mentor to support you whilst you gain the understanding required for this role. The main purpose of the role is to support teachers in the delivery of courses offered within the College by ensuring the preparation, maintenance and monitoring of learning materials, tools, equipment and spaces. To ensure the safe use of materials, tools, equipment and spaces by all students and staff, working within the Motor Vehicle department as directed by the Curriculum Area Manager. A background knowledge in motor vehicle is essential and a motor vehicle qualification is desirable, full training and support and/or upskilling for the role will be given to gain qualifications for the right candidate If you have an interest in motor vehicle trade and would like to have the opportunity to be a part of something truly amazing helping to shape brighter futures, apply today.
