Job Profile: Franchisee Development Manager Location: Kolkata (Pan–West Bengal Operations) Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years in Franchisee Development Industry: Jewellery / Retail (Famous Jewellery Brand) Job Overview The Franchisee Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the brand’s footprint across West Bengal by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding qualified franchise partners. The role requires a dynamic professional with proven experience in franchise acquisition, territory development, and relationship management—preferably within the jewellery or retail sector. The candidate will be based in Kolkata but must travel extensively across the state to execute franchise expansion plans. Key Responsibilities 1. Franchisee Acquisition & Network Expansion - Identify, evaluate, and acquire new franchise partners across West Bengal. - Conduct market research to identify high-potential towns, cities, and micro-markets. - Present the franchise business model, ROI structure, and brand value proposition. - Ensure franchise agreements, documentation, and compliance are completed accurately. 2. Territory Planning & Business Growth - Develop a franchise expansion roadmap in alignment with company objectives. - Track and analyze competitor franchise networks. - Recommend location strategies for maximizing brand visibility and profitability. 3. Franchise Relationship Management - Maintain strong professional relationships with franchise partners. - Serve as the primary point of contact during setup and operations. - Coordinate between franchisees and internal teams. 4. Project Coordination & Store Launch Support - Support franchisees with store planning and brand compliance. - Ensure timely execution of store openings and branding. - Monitor pre-launch promotions and local marketing activities. 5. Reporting & Compliance - Maintain accurate records of franchise leads and closures. - Submit weekly and monthly MIS reports. - Ensure franchise stores follow brand standards, SOPs, and legal requirements. Required Skills & Competencies - Minimum 5 years of experience in franchise development (jewellery/retail preferred). - Strong understanding of franchise models and ROI calculations. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. - Ability to travel extensively across West Bengal. - Professional, target-oriented, and self-driven. Educational Qualification - Graduate, Marketing, Retail Management, or equivalent. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Number of new franchisees acquired. - Timely completion of documentation and store launches. - Franchise partner satisfaction. - Achievement of territory expansion and revenue goals.
