We are looking for an experienced ASP.NET developer to migrate our existing e-commerce website built on ASP.NET 4.8 (Web Forms) to ASP.NET Core . The project involves re-architecting the existing application while maintaining all current functionalities, ensuring improved performance, scalability, and security. Key Responsibilities: Analyze the existing ASP.NET 4.8 Web Forms application. Rebuild and migrate the application to ASP.NET Core MVC or Razor Pages . Redesign or refactor code for better maintainability and performance. Ensure complete data migration with minimal downtime. Integrate existing payment gateways, product catalog, and user modules. Maintain the current website design and user experience (with possible UI enhancements). Test, debug, and deploy the new application in a live environment. Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer post-deployment. Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience in ASP.NET 4.8 (Web Forms) and ASP.NET Core (6/7/8) . Proficiency in C#, Entity Framework, LINQ, and SQL Server . Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery . Experience with RESTful APIs and modern architectural patterns (MVC, Dependency Injection, etc.). Hands-on experience in migrating legacy Web Forms applications to Core frameworks. Familiarity with Git, Azure, or IIS deployment is an advantage. Good understanding of E-commerce functionality (cart, checkout, payment, inventory). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Minimum 2 + years of ASP.NET development experience . Prior experience in migration projects preferred.
