Job Description Mission: Provide strategic leadership to the Projects Sales vertical with a strong focus on specification-led sales in commercial, hospitality, and high-end residential segments. Lead and develop a high-performing team of Project Specification Engineers pan-India to drive pipeline generation, stakeholder engagement, and conversion to orders. Build SOMFY’s thought leadership and brand equity within the AEC (Architects, Engineers, Consultants) ecosystem. Define and execute national specification strategies aligned with SOMFY’s automation solutions for façades, blinds, and connected technologies. Strengthen the ecosystem of specifiers, system integrators, façade consultants, and sustainability advisors, ensuring SOMFY is a preferred partner across project lifecycles Key Responsibilities: Own and deliver annual sales targets for the Projects vertical, focused on both pipeline creation and actual sales conversion through specifications. Build, mentor, and manage the specification team, fostering capability-building in solution-selling and stakeholder engagement. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure SOMFY’s solutions are visible, understood, and valued in the construction and design ecosystem. Define KPIs for specification coverage, project conversion ratio, and stakeholder account health. Establish strategic alliances with key influencers: Architects, MEP Consultants, Green Building Advisors, and Façade Designers. Regularly review and refine a pan-India project database, segment-wise tracking, and region-wise penetration. Represent SOMFY in industry forums, technical presentations, panel discussions, and exhibitions to position SOMFY as a market leader.
