Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Taxation Professional with in-depth knowledge of GST and TDS laws, return filing procedures, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing the entire taxation processright from data preparation to filing, reconciliation, audit support, and responding to notices. Key Responsibilities: GST Compliance & Filing Prepare and file monthly and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C). Ensure timely payment of GST liability and reconciliation of input tax credit (ITC). Perform vendor reconciliation, verifying purchase register vs GSTR-2B data. Handle GST registration, amendment, and cancellation processes if required. Maintain proper documentation for GST audit and department inquiries. Respond to departmental queries, show-cause notices, and support audit reviews. TDS Compliance & Return Filing Deduct, deposit, and file TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, etc.) within statutory timelines. Generate and issue TDS certificates (Form 16 / 16A) to employees and vendors. Maintain accurate ledgers for TDS deducted and deposited. Perform reconciliation of TDS as per books vs Form 26AS. Address mismatches and coordinate with vendors for corrections, if needed. Accounting & Tax Reconciliation Ensure correct accounting entries for tax-related transactions. Support the finalization of accounts from a tax compliance perspective. Prepare periodic tax reports, summaries, and MIS for management. Statutory Compliance & Record Keeping Ensure compliance with Income Tax Act, GST Act, and other indirect tax laws. Keep up to date with amendments and notifications from CBIC and the Income Tax Department. Maintain all tax-related records, challans, and filings in organized digital and physical formats.
