Solution Engineer - Cloud & Devops Service Platform

Role Overview: Transport is at the core of modern society and Volvo Group D&IT - Technology - CPA Manufacturing is looking for a skilled individual to contribute to the transformation of the company, the transport industry, and society at large. As part of the MTM Platform & Services team, you will work with digitalization & IT experts to provide services and tools to the organization, focusing on common topics like tests & validation, architecture, service platform, and Level 2 user support. Key Responsibilities: - Take an active part in evolving the organization towards the latest IT development practices such as cloud, service architecture, and DevOps - Contribute to transforming the D&IT landscape towards the "Manufacturing Target Map" used in the Volvo Group trucks plants - Support development teams in creating and operating value-added business applications - Cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment - Master the technical domain you are responsible for and continuously strive to learn, improve, and develop yourself, the team, its services & products - Possess analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and be comfortable working in a global & continuously evolving environment - Be organized, self-driving, taking ownership over the tasks given to you - Bring technical competences to the team & enrich them over time, including practical experience in Azure & DevOps, infrastructure as code, containerization, CI-CD pipelines, identity and access management, networking, version control, and monitoring and observability - Bonus competences include development experience (preferably in C#), Azure certificates (AZ104 and AZ400), and knowledge in progressive deployment, GitOps, GitHub, and Micro-service architecture Qualifications Required: - 5 years of practical experience in Azure & DevOps - Proven experience of running, maintaining, and operating a cloud platform - Infrastructure as Code, Containerization, CI-CD Pipelines - Identity and access management, Networking, Version control - Monitoring and observability experience Additional Details of the Company: Volvo Group is committed to shaping the future landscape of efficient, safe, and sustainable transport solutions.
