Job Summary: Lead the Future of Solar Manufacturing with Solnex Renewables Pvt Ltd! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Head to oversee the operations of our state-of-the-art solar aluminium frame manufacturing plant . This leadership role requires a strong background in aluminium extrusion, anodising, fabrication, and overall plant management. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all plant operations: Foundry, Extrusion Press, Shot Blasting, Anodising, Fabrication . Develop and implement production strategies to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. Oversee preventive maintenance of machinery and ensure minimal downtime. Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards (ISO, industry norms). Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams for smooth operations. Drive process improvements, cost optimisation, and productivity enhancement. Mentor and manage department heads and operational staff. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production volume, yield, downtime, equipment efficiency, and waste reduction. Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the manufacturing process. Address operational challenges proactively and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions. Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams for process improvements and new product introductions. Maintain strong communication with senior management to report progress, challenges, and opportunities. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields. A master’s degree or MBA is a plus. Minimum 10–15 years of experience in aluminium extrusion or similar manufacturing industries, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in plant leadership and operational excellence. Strong technical knowledge of extrusion, anodising, and fabrication processes. Experience in aluminum fabrication, solar PV manufacturing, or related industries preferred. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, safety standards, and supply chain management. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver operational excellence. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing business priorities.
