SOLIDWORKS Data Management Apps Development

You will be responsible for developing and validating new functionalities for SOLIDWORKS Data Management Application. This involves coding, compiling, and running unit tests according to implemented processes and Metrics (KPIs) as part of the development pipeline. You will also need to check the progress of dependencies with other components and ensure knowledge sharing within the team about the developments. Working towards development convergence is crucial, aiming to improve code quality up to the Last Build to reach the defined quality metrics, both at the component and product levels. After the software is deployed, you will track usage metrics and user feedback continuously to proactively enhance the solutions. Regular assessment of Metrics and Customers feedback will help identify areas for code quality or software performance improvement. You will also be required to perform lessons learned and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to pinpoint the root causes of severe issues and propose improvement actions to prevent such issues in the future. Additionally, resolving quality issues including backlog management is part of the role. This involves addressing issues reported by the Technical Support Team or Product QA teams promptly. Staying updated with the latest technological developments, understanding the requirements of development partners, knowing about competing products, and looking ahead to future products, technologies, and languages will be essential. To qualify for this position, you should have 3 to 4 years of experience in C++, MFC, COM development with database knowledge, preferably in SQL such as Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL. Practical experience in software development for commercial desktop applications on Windows is also necessary. Basic knowledge of databases and excellent communication skills in English are required.
