SolidWorks / AutoCAD 3D Mechanical Designer

The key responsibilities for this role include designing and modeling 3D mechanical components for solar energy systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. You will be responsible for developing mechanical structures like mounting systems, frames, and enclosures for solar panel installations. It is essential to collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that the designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. You will also need to create detailed technical drawings, assembly instructions, and part specifications for manufacturing and installation purposes. Additionally, stress analysis and testing of mechanical designs for durability and efficiency in solar installations will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring that designs are cost-efficient and easily integrated into solar projects is crucial. The preferred skills for this position include proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 3D mechanical design. Experience in designing mechanical components for solar or renewable energy systems is desirable. Knowledge of solar mounting systems and structural engineering principles is advantageous. You should possess the ability to create accurate technical drawings, assemblies, and part lists, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
