SolidCAM Programmer & CNC Machine Operator

Role Overview: You will be joining our precision machining team in Israel as a SolidCAM Programmer & CNC Machine Operator. Your main responsibility will be to create efficient CNC programs using SolidCAM and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-quality components that meet tight tolerances and specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, simulate, and optimize CNC programs using SolidCAM (milling and turning). - Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate machining. - Select and configure cutting tools, holders, and machining parameters for various materials. - Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines, including tool setup, work holding, and offsets. - Perform first-off and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools. - Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to ensure product quality and minimize downtime. - Maintain detailed records of setups, programs, and process improvements. - Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet production goals and delivery schedules. Qualifications Required: - Experience in programming CNC machines using SolidCAM. - Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications. - Strong knowledge of cutting tools, holders, and machining parameters for various materials. - Ability to perform first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools. - Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot programming and machining issues. - Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering, production, and quality teams.
