About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our market expansion and drive revenue growth across key chemical sectors. This pivotal role requires an expert in technical sales with a proven track record of acquiring, developing, and managing client relationships in both domestic and international markets within the chemical or allied industries. Key Responsibilities The Sales Manager will be responsible for the full sales cycle, focusing on strategic client acquisition and sustainable growth: Client Acquisition & Business Development (Domestic & International): Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve volume and revenue targets in both local (domestic) and export (international) markets. Proactively identify, target, and acquire new clients, distributors, and partners, focusing on high-potential end-user industries for our chemical products. Must have a demonstrable history of developing new client relationships and market segments in international territories. Sales Cycle Management : Manage the entire sales process from lead generation, initial product presentation, technical consultation, pricing, negotiation, and contract closure. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and technical product demonstrations tailored to customer needs. Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and client records using CRM software. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Market Analysis: Identify raw materials and manufacturers globally and domestically to meet technical and quality specifications. Conduct continuous market intelligence on product market trends, commodity pricing, and supply availability to inform sourcing strategies. Tendering and Negotiation: Float Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Tenders, and proposals. Analyze offers based on total cost of ownership (TCO), quality, and market benchmarks. Lead complex negotiations to finalize rates, terms, and agreements, ensuring pricing is justified on the basis of the current product market and cost drivers. Logistics and Delivery Execution: Manage logistics planning and execution for all incoming materials. Arrange for logistics and delivery of raw material via coordination with freight forwarders, customs, and internal warehousing. Ensure compliance with all shipping documentation, Incoterms, and customs requirements. Vendor Management: Develop strong relationships with strategic vendors. Logistics Knowledge: Strong knowledge of supply chain logistics, freight management, and Incoterms (e.g., Ex-Works, FOB, CIF). Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with creation of RFQs/POs. Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for managing suppliers and internal stakeholders.
