A telecaller in a solar company involves making outbound calls to generate leads and sales by promoting solar products and services, educating customers on benefits, and scheduling appointments for the sales team. Key responsibilities include handling inbound inquiries, maintaining customer records in a CRM system, and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales and call targets. The role also requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the sales team.
Install, test, and commission solar PV systems (rooftop & ground-mounted). Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and system interconnections. Install inverters, AC/DC distribution boxes, earthing systems, and protection devices. Conduct routine maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of solar systems. Diagnose and repair faults related to wiring, inverters, modules, and electrical components. Ensure installations comply with safety standards, electrical codes, and company SOPs. Perform system performance checks and assist in net-metering documentation if required. Maintain accurate job reports, material usage, and service documentation. Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors to ensure smooth execution.
Fabricate solar module mounting structures (MMS), frames, supports, clamps, and brackets as per engineering drawings. Cut, bend, and shape metal components using fabrication machines and tools. Perform MIG/ARC welding for solar structures and ensure strong, clean welds. Conduct measurements, marking, and alignment to ensure accurate fabrication. Prepare customized structures as required for rooftop and ground-mount solar projects. Assist installation teams by ensuring proper fitment and compatibility of fabricated components. Maintain fabrication equipment, tools, and workshop safety standards. Inspect finished products for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy. Manage inventory of raw materials and report shortages when required. Follow safety guidelines and ensure all fabrication work meets quality standards.
