Solar Structural Design Engineer PV Mounting Systems

As a Structural Design Engineer at Eastern Light & Power Pvt. Ltd. - MYSUN, your primary responsibility will be to design solar PV module mounting structures for various types of installations such as RCC roof, Metal roof, and ground mount systems. You will be tasked with conducting stability analysis of the structures using Staad Pro to optimize the structure sections based on different site conditions. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing detailed structure drawings, part drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM) for structures, hardware, and associated accessories. Furthermore, you will play a key role in preparing engineering documents including BOMs, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Panel layouts, and various drawings for residential and commercial solar systems. You will need to perform feasibility analysis of project sites for solar systems, making necessary adjustments based on site requirements, as well as designing foundations for structures and optimizing them for efficiency. Your tasks will also involve designing J-Bolts, Anchor Fasteners, and Grouting for structural stability. To excel in this role, you should have hands-on experience with Google SketchUp and AutoCAD, as well as familiarity with simulation software such as Staad Pro, PVSYST, and Meteonorm. A clear understanding of the factors influencing the performance of solar PV systems and the different types of on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar PV systems is essential. You will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain control over the engineering processes, and ensure proper documentation of all activities. This is a full-time position based in Noida, Sector 135. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in structural design engineering specifically in solar rooftop systems.
