Designing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including component selection, array layout, and electrical wiring. Creating detailed technical specifications, schematics, and layouts using CAD software. Performing energy yield calculations and system simulations to optimize performance. Project Management and Installation: Managing and overseeing the installation of solar systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety regulations. Coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other engineers. Preparing and submitting necessary permits and documentation. Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues during installation and commissioning. System Maintenance and Optimization: Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement. Conducting performance analysis and troubleshooting technical issues. Ensuring compliance with local and international standards and regulations. Technical Support and Expertise: Providing technical support to clients and field technicians. Keeping up-to-date with advancements in solar technology and integrating new solutions. Training and mentoring junior engineers and technicians. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and industry best practices. Adhering to environmental and safety standards. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Solar Energy Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of solar PV systems, electrical engineering principles, and energy efficiency. Proficiency in CAD software, system simulation tools, and performance analysis techniques. Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
