As a Solar Power Plant Electrical Designer at our company located in Bhubaneswar, you will play a crucial role in designing electrical systems for various residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and low-voltage systems based on project specifications. - Performing electrical load calculations and drafting detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and blueprints using software like AutoCAD and Revit. - Ensuring all designs comply with relevant local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations. - Collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction teams to seamlessly integrate electrical systems with other building systems. - Specifying electrical equipment and providing technical support during the construction phase. - Conducting site visits, preparing design reports, and addressing technical challenges during the design and construction phases. Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field. - Certification or training in electrical design software like AutoCAD or Revit is a plus. - Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the construction or building services industry. - Proficiency in CAD software, strong understanding of electrical principles, and knowledge of national and local electrical codes and regulations. - Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and project management skills.
