Solar Design Engineer

As a Solar Design Engineer, your role will involve conducting site surveys of rooftops and noting down all required parameters. You will utilize Sketchup and PVsyst software tools to design PV ground-mounted and rooftop systems. Your responsibilities will also include: - Performing accurate system sizing calculations - Creating electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems using computer-aided design (CAD)/ PVsyst software - Running PVsyst reports for system production estimates - Developing optimal designs with SLD, PML, conduit and wire scheduling, routing, equipment plans, and conceptual 3-D renderings - Adhering to grid compliance and permitting requirements - Building detailed bills of materials based on system specifications - Coordinating with the management team to develop complete proposal packages - Working collaboratively across functionally with sales, project management, and installation teams - Troubleshooting design and construction issues in the field Qualifications Required: - Good communication skills in Hindi and English - Bachelor's degree preferred - Minimum 1 year of experience with AutoCAD - Ability to design and have knowledge of Solar Rooftop plants - Experience with PVsyst and Sketchup software The company is looking for individuals who can reliably commute or are willing to relocate to Bengaluru, Karnataka.
