Software Tester Trainee

You will be joining our dynamic Quality Assurance team as a Software Tester / QA Engineer. In this entry-level role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software that meets user requirements and business needs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in creating and executing manual test cases based on product requirements - Conducting functional, regression, and integration testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications - Reporting defects and tracking them in a bug-tracking tool such as Jira or Bugzilla - Working closely with developers to understand software functionality and provide feedback on product quality - Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code review meetings - Documenting test cases, test results, and any discovered issues - Contributing to the creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios - Optionally assisting with basic test automation tasks using testing frameworks like Selenium or Appium - Actively learning and staying up-to-date on new testing methodologies and tools - Suggesting improvements to enhance the quality assurance process The ideal candidate will have: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) - 0-1 year of experience in software testing (freshers are welcome to apply) This is a full-time position located in person.
