Software Tester-Power Apps (Quality Assurance)

Role Overview: As a Software Tester with expertise in Power Apps (Quality Assurance), your role will involve collaborating with the development team to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases. You must possess sound knowledge in Testing methodologies and processes. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience in Test case design, Test Execution, Defect Logging, and Reporting. Your responsibilities will also include executing functional tests to ensure that software applications meet specified requirements, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with developers to resolve issues. Key Responsibilities: - Execute functional tests to ensure software applications meet specified requirements - Identify and document defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues - Conduct regression testing to ensure software changes do not negatively impact existing functionality - Perform integration testing to verify interoperability of various components within the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) - Conduct performance testing to evaluate system responsiveness, scalability, and stability - Develop and maintain automated test scripts or other relevant automation frameworks - Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing - Propose and implement process improvements to enhance the overall testing process Qualifications Required: - Knowledge in SharePoint Online and Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) will be beneficial - Relevant certifications in software testing or Microsoft Power Platform would be considered a good-to-have - Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills are imperative - Proficiency in working in Agile (Scrum) project methodologies and tools like JIRA is required - Experience in working across disciplines, groups, and teams will be advantageous,
