Software Test Analyst - Automation and Functional testing

As a highly skilled and motivated Software Test Engineer with expertise in functional testing of SOAP API, REST API, and desktop-based solutions, your role will involve developing and maintaining comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing. You will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and issues, collaborating with developers to resolve them. Your responsibilities will also include providing good test coverage, including functional, integration, and regression testing, preparing test plans, test scenarios, test closure, and reporting statistics for web applications and APIs. - Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing - Identify, document, and track defects and issues, collaborating with developers to resolve them - Provide good test coverage, including functional, integration, and regression testing - Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test closure, and report statistics for web applications and APIs - Ensure new scripts are updated and integrated into the test regression pack - Investigate and report defects/bugs discovered - Deliver regular progress/status reports as required - Integrate quality into every stage of the SDLC - Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives - Handle projects end-to-end individually by performing activities like requirement gathering, designing scenarios, analyzing tests, and reporting results with recommendations Qualifications Required: - 4-5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on functional testing and expertise in a functional test approach and test documentation - Strong experience in Black box testing for at least 3 years This job also offers opportunities for personal and professional growth in a fast-paced and innovative environment.,
