As a Software Technologist I - C++, your role involves collaborating with the team to establish software quality goals and development practices. You will be fostering continuous improvement and excellence in software development through stringent standards and methodologies. Your responsibilities include: - Developing software to log and store performance data, usage, errors, etc., enabling continuous monitoring of solutions and products for improved reliability and performance. - Integrating software components and third-party libraries into existing systems, ensuring smooth functionality and interoperability with minimal disruption. - Analyzing and optimizing application performance to enhance user experience and system efficiency, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to meet performance benchmarks. - Suggesting improvements to existing workflows, demonstrating a good understanding of user/product requirements in the areas of responsibility, and mentoring team members to motivate and unify the team. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: - Minimum 5-10 years of experience - Strong C++ development experience - Good understanding of OOPS concept, design pattern, and multi-threading - Acts as a technical coach for a team or domain, ensuring consistent application of best practices and high standards across projects. - Sets quality goals and development practices with the team to drive continuous improvement and excellence in software development. - Conducts and participates in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Stays current with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve development processes and product quality. - Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with project goals and user needs. - Resolves a wide range of moderate complexity requests in creative ways, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
