Software Quality Engineer - Automation Testing

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing feature specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Collaborating with other QA Engineers, you will develop effective testing strategies and plans. Your role will involve writing and executing test cases, whether manual or automated, and analyzing the test results. Additionally, you will create and maintain detailed bug reports to properly document identified issues. Clear communication of bugs and errors to development teams and following up on resolutions will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Troubleshooting issues across various platforms and environments, as well as performing post-release and post-implementation testing to validate functionality and stability, will also be part of your duties. The ideal candidate for this position should possess 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance. You must have a strong ability to document issues clearly and troubleshoot effectively. Experience with defect tracking systems and test case management tools is required. Proficiency in API testing, familiarity with AI tools and their testing implications, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. An attention to detail, along with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively, is crucial for success in this role. Analytical thinking, a problem-solving mindset, experience testing web applications and related features, and hands-on experience with mobile applications across different operating systems are also desired qualifications.
