In this position, you will work on our next-gen routing Platforms (Core Routing and SDWAN) that offer solutions for Enterprise/SP and Fortune 500 customers. You will focus on industry standard technologies such as SD-WAN Security, MACSec, IPSEC/GRE, ZBFW, IPS/IDS, TLS, SSL Proxy, different VPN technologies, OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP. The Enterprise routing team consists of high energy and hardworking engineers who are customer focused and emphasize quality. They bring diverse perspectives and experiences to address the most challenging engineering tasks. Your role involves developing, implementing, and automating test cases for platforms and software targeted at the Enterprise routing market. A strong understanding of SD-WAN Security, MACSec, IPSEC/GRE, ZBFW, IPS/IDS, TLS, SSL Proxy, different VPN technologies, Layer2/Layer3 protocols, proficient Python script development skills, familiarity with Plug n Play or Zero Touch deployments, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary and geographically diverse team are encouraged. Previous experience with AI tools for automation will be beneficial. You will engage with Business Development, External Partners, Hardware/Software Engineering, and Release Operations throughout the development process. Minimum Qualifications: - Typically requires BSEE/ MSEE/CS with 9 to 13 years of experience in software Testing. - Possession of CCNA, CCNP, or other Cisco certifications is advantageous. - Good comprehension of SD-WAN Security, MACSec, IPSEC/GRE, ZBFW, IPS/IDS, TLS, SSL Proxy, different VPN technologies, Layer2/Layer3 protocols. - Proficiency in Plug n Play or Zero Touch deployments. - Strong scripting skills in Python, familiarity with Rest API Automation, and experience in automation using AI tools. - Hands-on experience with test tools like traffic analysers (e.g., Sniffer, Ethereal) and traffic generation tools (e.g., Ixia, Spirent both stateful and stateless) is essential. - Ability to write test plans, design test cases, implement test cases, and automate end to end at scale. - Experience in System Integration Testing, Scalability and Performance testing, Negative tests and corner cases, Mapping customer scenarios to test cases, stress tests, longevity tests, and testing feature combinations. Preferred Qualifications: - Proficient in setting up test labs and configurations. - Solid understanding of SW quality and processes. - Design and development of test plans for the system test environment covering various areas. - Development of topology based on test requirements and setting up the test bed. - Following test processes including bug logging, bug repro, and result archival.
