Software QA Engineer - PCB & CAD design

As a Software QA Engineer at Autodesk's Fusion Electronics team in Pune, you will be a key player in ensuring the quality of Fusion, the first 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB tool that unifies design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing into one cloud-based platform. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing detailed manual test cases for new features of Fusion 3D model design and 3D PCB design. You will identify, document, and prioritize defects with clear steps, create test designs and cases based on product design, and contribute to regression testing of end-to-end workflows. Collaboration with software developers to troubleshoot issues and effective communication with stakeholders and teams about test strategies, planning, status, and risks will be crucial aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in electronics software testing, PCB design, or mechanical design. Solid experience in PCB design & ECAD software, fluency in oral & written English, and a passion for improving product quality are essential. Additionally, embracing changes, working under pressure, and understanding software QA methodologies and software development processes are key requirements. Preferred qualifications include experience in Fusion or other 3D design software, knowledge of Allegro or other Library Design software, experience in automation testing and load testing, and PCB & CAD design experience.
