Software, Principal Project Design Leader

As a valued member of Schneider Electric energy management R&D Center in India, your primary mission is to design, implement, and deliver top-notch software solutions that drive the sales of Schneider Electric products, solutions, and services. With a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring enterprise applications, you possess a comprehensive skill set that includes proficiency in Java, Angular, Spring, and related technologies. In addition to your technical expertise, you will play a pivotal role in leading the implementation and supporting the engineering manager in the day-to-day operations of the team. Your proven track record showcases your ability to thrive in collaborative environments, ensuring timely project delivery in dynamic and agile settings. Your responsibilities encompass a wide array of leadership and technical tasks, including guiding the team towards optimal solutions for business challenges, translating complex technical requirements into actionable decisions, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive strategic agendas for product and platform development. You will be instrumental in delivery planning, milestone definition, resource allocation, risk identification, and mitigation strategies. Working closely with development, quality assurance, and DevOps teams, you will oversee aspects of build, release, and versioning requirements, all while maintaining a steadfast commitment to cybersecurity throughout the development process. In this role, you will be expected to code for at least 75% of your time, demonstrating a solid grasp of modern application patterns, deployment methods, and a diverse set of technologies including Java, Angular, Spring, Azure services, SQL/NoSQL databases, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and more. Your proficiency in continuous integration and continuous deployment practices using Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps, combined with your experience in SAFe Agile methodologies, will be key to your success. Your analytical prowess, attention to detail, work ethics, self-motivation, and ability to navigate complex cross-functional projects will set you apart as a valuable contributor to the team. To excel in this role, you must hold a BE/B.Tech/MCA degree and be based in Karnataka, India.
