Your role: As a seasoned front end developer at UBS, you will collaborate with business users and the development team to enhance systems, improve productivity, reduce operational risk, facilitate business expansion, and ensure user satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to contribute to high-profile applications, shape the technical direction, and take ownership of functional components. Your responsibilities include: - Implementing and delivering high-quality software solutions for the Credit Risk Monitoring platform - Analyzing business requirements and designing technical solutions that align with best practices - Demonstrating strong collaboration skills by working closely with development, testing, and implementation teams for regulatory and business enhancement programs - Mentoring and leading developers, reviewing code and designs, and ensuring adherence to standards - Playing a key role in platform modernization and continuously improving existing systems Your team: You will be part of the Credit Risk Monitoring Stream and work within the EOD Monitoring Crew, collaborating with colleagues from the UK, Zurich, Poland, and India, including DevOps, developers, BAs, and Automation Engineers. Your expertise: To excel in this role, you should have: - 4 years of experience in Frontend development using React JS, Typescript, and CSS - 5 years of experience in Front End development using core C#.NET, with a preference for WPF - Additional experience in development and working with microservices using Java Spring Boot is advantageous - Experience in building cloud-ready applications, migrating applications using Azure, and understanding Azure Native Cloud services, software design, and enterprise integration patterns - Proficiency in DevOps toolsets like GitLab, Jenkins, and test automation frameworks like Selenium and UFT - Hands-on experience with build tools like Maven/Gradle - Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Containerization (Docker, Podman or Similar), and Cloud Native technologies and frameworks About Us: UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
