Your role will involve utilizing PWA Studio to construct Progressive Web Apps (PWA) for Magento-based platforms. In addition, you will work closely with Magento Backend (version 2.x), integrating APIs, and enhancing frontend-backend communications. Your skill set should include proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), as well as familiarity with modern frontend frameworks/libraries like React and Redux. You should be well-versed in Git and collaborative version control workflows. Experience in front-end performance optimization techniques and tools such as Lighthouse, Webpack, and code-splitting will be beneficial. An understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development is crucial for this role. Your responsibilities will also involve hands-on experience in utilizing RESTful APIs and GraphQL in frontend applications. Moreover, familiarity with frontend testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress is preferred.
