Software engineer-Test Automation

Role Overview: At HARMAN Automotive, we are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our Data Annotation team. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing automated testing strategies and frameworks for our software products. You will have the opportunity to Engineer audio systems and integrated technology platforms that augment the driving experience, combine ingenuity, in-depth research, and a spirit of collaboration with design and engineering excellence, and advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement automated testing strategies and frameworks. - Design and create test scripts using automation tools. - Identify, analyze, and document software defects and bugs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues. Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Robot Framework, etc. - Proficiency in at least one programming language like Python, JavaScript, etc. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git, SVN, Mercurial, etc. Preferred Skills: - Understanding of API testing tools like Postman, SOAPUI, etc. - Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc. - Knowledge of test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, etc. - Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, etc. Good to Have: - Basic knowledge of machine learning and deep learning concepts. - Experience with deployment tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
