Software Engineer (SAP ABAP on HANA Developer)

As a Senior SAP Developer at UBS, you will be utilizing your expertise in SAP applications such as ECC, HANA, and Business Technology Platform (BTP) to solve complex issues and develop solutions that cater to both technical and business needs. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining SAP applications by leveraging your knowledge in SAP HANA & Business Technology Platform. You will also be required to adhere to standards, methods, and techniques as defined by the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), such as code repository handling, code inspection, and penetration-avoidance. In this role, strong verbal and written communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with internal and external stakeholders. Being a team player is crucial, as you will be expected to share your knowledge, support, train, and coach other team members. You will be working within the Group Functions Finance Team in Hyderabad, specifically as part of the Finance Technology division. As part of a global team, you will contribute to driving innovations and participating in SAP S/4 HANA and Cloud integration programs. To excel in this position, you should have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP on HANA across multiple implementation projects. Proficiency in HANA Code push down Techniques, OOPs ABAP, SAP BTP, Microsoft Azure (or other cloud platforms), integration technologies, and frontend technologies such as Fiori/UI5 is required. Experience in SAP DevOps, CI/CD, GitLab, Azure Integration, and the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment are also important. Furthermore, you should have a track record of influencing senior IT stakeholders and business partners, possessing a pragmatic "can do" attitude. Working within Agile and global teams should be familiar to you, and you should be capable of understanding client needs and translating them into actionable items.
