Software Engineer, R&D

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting research to identify and understand new and emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. You will design, develop, and test software solutions using cutting-edge technologies to meet project requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to develop innovative and scalable solutions, while applying strong problem-solving skills to contribute to technological advancements. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct research to identify new technologies and industry trends - Design, develop, and test software solutions using cutting-edge technologies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions - Apply problem-solving skills to contribute to technological advancements - Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes for new features and products - Deploy software systems with a focus on productization of new technologies - Strive for self-excellence and enable the success of the team/stakeholders Qualifications Required: - 2 to 6 years of experience in building proof-of-concept prototypes and gathering feedback - Strong working experience in Python, JavaScript, ReactJS - Experience with front-end technologies/libraries such as Three.js, React flow, Apache echarts, Konva.js, Material UI, Tailwind, etc. - Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, Npm - Experience in container-based development and Azure Services like Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions - Knowledge of messaging queue tools like RabbitMQ, Kafka - Proficiency in databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL - Understanding of reporting solutions like PowerBI, Apache SuperSet - Knowledge of Micro-Services and/or Micro-Frontend architecture - Strong knowledge in using AI tools like copilot for code generation - Familiarity with Code Quality, Code Monitoring, Performance Engineering, Test Automation Tools Additional Details: ValGenesis disrupted the life sciences industry in 2005 with the introduction of the world's first digital validation lifecycle management system.
