Software Engineer - Python

As a Software Engineer at Unpod.ai, your role will involve building and implementing the platform using the latest open-source technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications. - Integrate software components and third-party program libraries. - Verify and deploy programs and systems. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications. - Recommend and execute improvements. - Create technical documentation for reference and reporting. - Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Exhibit resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude. Qualifications Required: - 3-4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in designing, analyzing, and implementing web server applications using Python. - Profound knowledge in scalable web application development using Python/Django/FastAPI, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Ability to do high-level technical design with guidance, functional modeling, module breakdown by thinking platform, and re-use. - Exposure to application hosting with uvicorn and an nginx server. - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines. - Proficiency in monitoring performance, optimizing architecture, and advising on necessary infrastructure changes. - Experience in creating a platform on top of stored data, migrating REST APIs to a microservice architecture. - Demonstrate a sense of ownership and attention to detail.
