Software Engineer - PHP/WordPress Developer

As a Junior PHP WordPress Developer at our company, you will play a key role in our development team by bringing UI/UX designs to life, customizing themes and plugins, and contributing to the creation of responsive, high-performance websites. Your primary responsibilities will include converting Figma/UI designs into WordPress pages, customizing themes based on design specifications, and collaborating with designers and senior developers to implement features and resolve technical issues. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing custom WordPress plugins, optimizing websites for performance and SEO, and ensuring consistency in design and user experience across multiple projects and platforms. Regular site audits, fixes, and updates will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess a good understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins, along with basic knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. Familiarity with front-end frameworks, responsive design practices, and WordPress page builders like Elementor, Divi, or Avada is required. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this position. While not mandatory, experience with version control tools like Git, familiarity with SEO best practices, and basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON are considered advantageous.
