Software Engineer - .NET

As a Software Engineer at Zinnia, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, configuring, unit testing, installing, and maintaining our software platforms. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will create solutions and products to meet the requirements of both internal stakeholders and clients, ultimately enhancing efficiency and service quality. Your responsibilities will include developing, coding, and maintaining software modules/systems. This will involve modifying existing software products and creating new modules based on technical specifications aligned with business needs. To excel in this role, you should have 3-5 years of experience in Microsoft Web Technologies such as ASP.NET MVC and Dot Net Core. Proficiency in C#, Entity Framework, and JQuery is essential. Your ability to develop enterprise solutions following software designs, coupled with effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, will be key to your success. A systematic problem-solving approach and a strong sense of ownership are qualities that will set you apart. Working collaboratively as part of a cross-functional, global team is crucial. Experience in WebAPI, XML, JQuery/HTML/CSS, and relational databases like SQL Server 2014/2019+ will be beneficial. Having experience with enterprise-level applications/products, working in the insurance industry, and knowledge of React and TypeScript are considered advantageous.
