Software Engineer MDG

As an experienced SAP MDM Consultant, you will be responsible for leading Master Data Management (MDM) projects in Bangalore. Your role will involve working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and governance of master data across the enterprise. You must have deep expertise in MDM, with both technical and functional capabilities. Your key responsibilities will include leading requirement-gathering workshops, performing gap analysis, designing master data models, and governance processes aligned with business needs. You will also lead full lifecycle MDM implementations, provide support for existing environments, and ensure adherence to best practices and project standards. Additionally, you will manage data integration using ALE/IDoc and Web Services, ensuring seamless synchronization and consistency of master data across systems. Developing and maintaining functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials, as well as delivering end-user training and support during testing cycles and post-go-live phases will also be part of your role. Mandatory skills for this position include hands-on experience with SAP MDM/MDG implementation (6-9 years), proficiency in ABAP, master data processes expertise, ABAP on S/4HANA, and knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP and ABAP 7.4. Nice-to-have skills include SAP MDG experience, familiarity with data migration tools, and exposure to data quality tools and KPI tracking.
