As a Software Engineer II, you will be an experienced builder capable of working independently across the full stack to develop production-grade software. Taking ownership of features from conception to deployment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and health of the systems you create. Clarifying scope, translating user needs into technical solutions, and offering insights into trade-offs and timelines will be within your purview. Representing engineering in cross-functional discussions, you will be accountable for delivering outcomes rather than mere output. Your key responsibilities will include: - Taking charge of end-to-end delivery of features or services, encompassing design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations. - Utilizing AI-based development tools to enhance speed, reduce boilerplate, and elevate development quality. - Engaging with product, design, and business stakeholders to define and prioritize impactful work. - Identifying edge cases and failure scenarios and constructing systems that handle them gracefully. - Engaging in and leading technical conversations, providing feedback on design and implementation. - Crafting clear, well-tested, and maintainable code while assisting others in doing the same. - Ensuring thorough testing of your changes at all levels (unit, integration, e2e, and manual). - Overseeing the maintenance of services in production, contributing to on-call rotations and incident response. - Continuously enhancing code quality, developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering processes. - Mentoring early-career engineers and aiding in elevating the team's technical standards. Requirements: - Proficiency in one or more modern languages and frameworks (e.g., TypeScript, Java, Python, PHP). - Experience with distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and full-stack development. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and DevOps best practices. - Ability to craft high-quality, testable, and well-documented code. - Comfort in thoughtfully and critically using AI development tools. - Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.,
