Software Engineer - Java with AWS Skills

Job Description: As a Software Engineer with Java and AWS skills, you will be responsible for providing technology contributions in an agile development environment. Your key tasks will include translating business requirements into low-level application design, collaborating on application code development, conducting full-scale unit testing, and implementing test-driven and behaviour-driven development (TDD/BDD) QA concepts. Additionally, you will be expected to apply continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts. You should be able to work as an individual contributor and independently execute your responsibilities. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and self-planning abilities are essential for success in this role. Effective communication skills and the ability to focus on self-planning activities are also important. The mandatory skills for this position include proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Python, relational/non-relational databases, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), development experience in a Linux environment, modern SDLC tooling (Maven, Git), and microservices design-oriented application development. Experience with deploying applications using container orchestration in a cloud environment, as well as an understanding of CI/CD pipeline and related system development environments, are crucial. Additionally, familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Angular would be considered a nice-to-have skill. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience. The job location is Bangalore (Whitefield/Kochi) with a hybrid work model (at least 3 days a week in the office).
