Software Engineer JAVA

The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of prior work experience in JAVA and Spring Boot. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for sharing your expertise and knowledge with junior developers, guiding them in the best practices of software development. You will also review the code of team members to ensure that it follows the best practices, coding standards, and design principles. In addition, you will be required to identify and fix complex technical issues, help the team troubleshoot any arising issues, and remain up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry to ensure that the applications are using the most up-to-date tools and frameworks. Creating and maintaining technical documentation, participating in project planning and estimation processes, and assisting in deploying Java applications to various environments are also part of the responsibilities. Moreover, you will be expected to monitor and maintain applications in production, address performance issues, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and present technical concepts and solutions to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Taking initiatives in defining/updating best practices, guidelines, and checklists, establishing and maintaining the CI/CD process, and embracing changes in requirements and priorities as per Agile values are essential in this role. Working in a Scrum/Kanban team environment to size and plan the requirements is also a key aspect of this position. The required skills for this role include proficiency in Java Core, JUNIT or other testing frameworks, Spring Framework, Web Services, Architectural Patterns, Database (MySQL, Hibernate), Version Control (Git), Front End (Angular), CI/CD, Coding Practices, Design Principles, Secure Practices, Agile methodologies, Messaging, Containerization, and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).,
