Software Engineer in Test

As an SDET-III at India's No.1 HR SaaS company, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and implementing integration/system test strategy, test plans, test processes, test scenarios, and test cases. Your responsibilities will include identifying and preparing test data, communicating with Analysts and Developers to understand requirements, managing defects in the defect tracking system, and communicating risks to the Project team. You will provide regular updates to the Test Manager, participate in the collection and review of quantitative data related to software testing and development activities, and provide technical information for Change Requests meetings. Additionally, you will participate in system requirement reviews, team meetings, and maintain project test documentation. When required, you will also be expected to participate in production support activities. To excel in this role, you must have experience in developing and leading the automation strategy using tools such as Selenium WebDriver and Robot Framework. A thorough understanding of all phases of SDLC and STLC is essential, along with competency in Test Plan and Test Case writing. Proficiency in using open-source test case management tools and excellent analytical skills are required. Moreover, you should be proficient in SQL for creating and modifying queries.
