Software Engineer III - Python/Java + AWS

In this role, you will work as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your key responsibilities include: - Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively to build solutions or solve technical problems effectively. - Creates secure and high-quality production code while maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. - Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met by software code development. - Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems continuously. - Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture. - Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new and emerging technologies. - Enhances team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Qualifications required for this role: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience. - Strong proficiency in Java/Python and ETL development. - Solid knowledge of AWS Services like Redshift, Glue, S3, Terraform for infrastructure setup. - Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. - Proficient in coding in one or more languages. - 7+ years of experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages. - Overall understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. - Good grasp of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security. - Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes in technical disciplines like cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc. Preferred qualifications for the role: - Familiarity with modern front-end technologies. - Experience with iceberg. - Exposure to cloud technologies.,
