Software Engineer III- Full-Stack DevOps and SRE

As an experienced member of the Software Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in pushing the limits of what's possible. Your responsibilities will include: - Participating in the design and development of scalable and resilient systems using Java, GO, Angular, and React to drive continual improvements for product teams. - Executing software solutions, designs, development, and technical troubleshooting. - Demonstrating knowledge of APM Tools such as Dynatrace, monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and Databricks for the Data intelligence platform. - Showing expertise in SRE and DevOps practices. - Creating secure and high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. - Producing or contributing to architecture and design artifacts for applications, ensuring that design constraints are met by software code development. - Gathering, analyzing, synthesizing, and developing visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems. - Identifying hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. - Contributing to software engineering communities of practice and events focusing on new and emerging technologies. - Adding to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience. - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. - Proficiency in coding in Java and GO languages. - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages. - Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle. - Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. - Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.). Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills for this position include: - Familiarity with modern front-end technologies like Angular and React. - Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS and Terraform. - AI/ML knowledge.
