Software Engineer III - AIML Observability Platform

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the AI/ML Data Platform team, you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Your role will involve architecting, building, and maintaining comprehensive observability systems at scale. You will partner with Customers, Product managers, and Engineering teams to develop systems and align observability objectives across the organization. Providing architectural guidance and establishing standards for observability implementations with a strong focus on cost optimization and compliance will be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive business impact and customer satisfaction through exceptional software delivery is crucial. Evaluating and implementing modern data storage solutions to support advanced analytics and dashboards will also be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, Build and maintain comprehensive observability systems at scale - Partner with Customers, Product managers, and Engineering teams to align observability objectives - Provide architectural guidance and establish standards for observability implementations - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business impact - Evaluate and implement modern data storage solutions for advanced analytics Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience - Hands-on practical experience in backend development using Python, Java, Node.js, or Golang - Expertise with Cloud native observability tools, OpenTelemetry, Grafana/Prometheus/CloudWatch/Datadog etc - Experience in designing and architecting large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native architecture in AWS - Excellent communication skills and ability to represent and present business and technical concepts to stakeholders - Experience with a product-oriented mindset and a strong sense of responsibility, urgency, and determination In addition to the mentioned qualifications, capabilities, and skills, familiarity with modern front-end technologies, exposure to cloud technologies, working in AI, ML, or Data engineering, and developing Automation frameworks/AI Ops are preferred qualifications for the role at JPMorgan Chase.,
