As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Data Services, you will be a crucial part of an agile team that designs and delivers trusted market-leading technology products. Your role involves executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively. You will be accountable for creating secure and high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms, and producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Additionally, you will gather, analyze, and synthesize data sets to drive continuous improvement and contribute to software engineering communities of practice. Key Responsibilities: - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting - Create secure and high-quality production code - Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications - Gather, analyze, and synthesize data sets for continuous improvement - Contribute to software engineering communities of practice Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 2+ years of applied experience - Experience designing and implementing data pipelines in a cloud environment - 3+ years of experience migrating/developing data solutions in the AWS cloud - 3+ years of experience building/implementing data pipelines using Databricks - Solid understanding of agile methodologies - 3+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience using Python - Experience in Big data technologies such as Hadoop/Spark - Hands-on experience in data modeling, ETL processing, data profiling, and advanced PL/SQL procedures In addition to the above qualifications, exposure to cloud technologies and familiarity with Oracle, ETL, Data Warehousing are considered as preferred qualifications for this role.,
