Software Engineer I-Oracle Apps

As a skilled Oracle Apps Technical Consultant at 7-Eleven Global Solution Center, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise in Oracle Applications development, customization, and integration to cater to our clients" business requirements. Your collaboration with functional consultants, business analysts, and clients will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions that align with their needs. Your responsibilities will include analyzing business requirements to determine the scope of customization and integration within Oracle Applications. You will design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, and reports using various Oracle development tools such as PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, Unix Scripting, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), and Oracle Workflow Builder. Additionally, you will be involved in customizing and enhancing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules like Financials, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and HRMS. Furthermore, you will be responsible for tasks such as data migration, data conversion, interface development between Oracle Applications and external systems using Oracle Integration technologies like Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Providing technical guidance and support to functional consultants and end-users during different project phases will be part of your role. You will also be involved in unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and stability of the solutions developed. Maintaining technical documentation, troubleshooting technical issues, staying updated with Oracle EBS releases, collaborating with project managers for timely delivery, and evaluating new features to enhance existing solutions are all integral parts of this role. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 5-8 years of experience in Oracle Apps Technical Consulting, proficiency in Oracle development tools, and a strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture are required qualifications for this position.
