Software Engineer - Embedded Linux

Role Overview: As a Automotive Engineer at HARMAN Automotive, your role will involve designing, developing, and testing automotive software components with a focus on embedded protocols and real-time performance. You will be responsible for engineering audio systems and integrated technology platforms to enhance the driving experience. Your work will combine ingenuity, in-depth research, and collaboration to advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate strong expertise in the automotive telematics domain. - Utilize hands-on experience with Embedded Linux and Yocto. - Showcase proficiency in C/C++ for embedded software development. - Possess a good understanding of Firmware and BSP (Board Support Package). - Engage in TCU (Telematics Control Unit) development, testing, and integration. - Apply knowledge of connectivity technologies such as 4G/5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GNSS. - Display familiarity with telematics protocols like eCall, MQTT, TCP/IP, and UDP. - Have the ability to debug, integrate SDKs, and resolve system-level issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature integration and validation.
